Trevor Murphy (campus radio) – trevor (@) pigeonrow.com
Trevor Murphy is no stranger to the Canadian music landscape. After several years of touring and performing with independent bands such as The Establishment and Sleepless Nights, Trevor hunkered down in Halifax and began working full-time as a publicist with Pigeon Row.
Also the host of the locally focused radio program Halifax Is Burning on CKDU 88.1FM, Trevor’s specialty is campus and community radio tracking. His ongoing professional relationships with music directors across the country and his chart success with Pigeon Row clients such as Dog Day, Shotgun Jimmie, Marine Dreams, Long Weekends, and Honheehonhee (among others) demonstrate Trevor’s intimate knowledge of independent radio structures and formats.
Though his emphasis has been predominantly targeted in this area over the past three years, Trevor has recently started taking on full-service campaigns for artists such as Writers’ Strike, Kuato, and Rain Over St. Ambrose.
When the whistle blows and the workday is over, Trevor runs the independent music label Acadian Embassy, plays a few shows under the moniker Quiet Parade, sits on the Board of the Halifax Pop Explosion, and works towards earning a Master’s degree in a completely unrelated discipline.

Darcy Spidle (outer sounds) – darcy (@) pigeonrow.com
Darcy Spidle is able to offer effective album, tour, and events publicity for artists and organizations that deal in outer sound genres like noise, avant punk/jazz/electronics, drone, free improvisation, ambient, modern composition and many other marginalized forms of music. His efforts are focused on the ever shifting blogosphere, relevant weeklies and newspapers, targeted college radio shows, and major online and print publications. Campaigns can be catered to meet specific needs and resources—ranging from small internet only programs to multi-faceted campaigns involving rigorously tracked mailings and ongoing outreach. His clients have been covered by The Wire, Dusted, Exclaim!, Pitchfork, Weird Canada, Noisey(Vice), Toronto Star, The Coast and many more. When not working publicity, Darcy runs Canada’s longstanding new music imprint DIVORCE and programs Halifax’s fringe music and arts festival the OBEY Convention.
